Cousin of Saint-Marcellin in its manufacturing and refining method, but in a larger, richer and creamier version, some double cream enriches our cheese. It is milder than Its cousin It has aromas of hazelnut, butter cream, mushrooms and undergrowth that instantly delight gourmet palates.
It is one of the cheeses defined by French law through Decree No. 2007-628 of April 27, 2007 which prohibits the addition of spices, aromatics or colourings.
The Saint Félicien, creamy as can be, will pair well with a red wine from the same region, like a Crozes-Hermitage.
